Criteria for choosing eligible candidates in the post-graduate program POLICIES AND APPLIED METHODS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

Candidates coming from a variety of disciplines may be accepted in the post-graduate program POLICIES AND APPLIED METHODS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, organized by the School of Civil Engineering of the University of West Attica. Candidates should hold a university degree from Greek or equivalent foreign universities. Candidates with degrees from foreign universities should have their degrees accredited by the Hellenic National Academic recognition and Information Center.

The selection of eligible applicants is based generally upon the following criteria:

  1. degree grade
  2. grades in relevant under-graduate courses
  3. grade of their under-graduate thesis or post-graduate thesis if they have already attended another post-graduate program
  4. publications and scientific research
  5. knowledge of foreign language (preferably English, French, German, Italian or Spanish) certified by official accredited organization, as described in the Regulation of the Program
  6. certificate of Greek as foreign language for non-Greek applicants
  7. interview
  8. professional experience

Changes on the above-mentioned criteria may be decided by approval of the special Committee of the post-graduate program.
